Concrete Staining

Staining is a great way to make concrete warming or contrast with the surrounding environment.  Concrete is a proven durable surface.  With the proper care your floor can last a lifetime.

Maintenance:
Indoor – Your floor should be mopped as needed and have an occasional coat of floor was applied.  Other maintenance needed will depend on the sealer that was used to finish the job.  Check with the contractor for product information or MSDS sheets.

Outdoor-  In a freeze thaw climate most sealer manufacturers recoomend re-sealing your stained concrete surface once a year.  Each job is different based on location and use.  After a stain job, it is recommended to first do a deep penetrating sealer & finish with a high solids sealer.  In Oregon we will most likely use a 20-35% solids acrylic concrete sealer because of the durability.  Other products can be used at customers request.  Contact us for more information.
